A letter to 3021 — A hand mark to future generations
This hand mark belongs to a bunch of people who lived almost ten thousand years ago. When we discovered this cave in Argentina in 1999 everybody was shocked because we were imagining humans since before modern times weren’t smart, creative and this hidden cave gave us insight into human history. When I think about one thousand years from now, I feel the same feelings for future humans. These writings and the Internet were ancient artificial beings.
I’m writing this post to ahead of time, if anybody found this letter a thousand years later please consider, we worked hard, we loved, we tried to create a better world, we have feelings we are trying to understand the universe, our solar system and beyond, but most importantly we have been trying to understand the meaning of this life.
From the start everyone — women, children and men — wants the most supreme dreams: to be happy, prosper, healthy, rich and comfortable. The world we live in today is around 7.8 billion and unfortunately very few of us have these comfortable lives at the moment, but I hope you find a solution to create a better and more sustainable life for all of you.
Energy, food and resources were limited; and in the ancient world these resource distributions were unfair. Wealth of the richest 1% equals that of the other 99%. This is unbelievable, we are such selfish creatures. I hope you find a fair distribution of artificial intelligence, new genetics revelations or something we haven’t invented yet.
Some of the luckiest countries in the world have their own rules, flag, march, and people, and of course some of the unlucky countries don’t have the power to lift their own resources.
In 2021, the year I’m writing this article, the United States of America will be the leading country in the world with the majority of military and economic power, and like all empires, countries and leading powers they will also lose their power someday, but we cannot predict the future unless everything changes rapidly.
In the last 100 years major inventions have been discovered: electricity, engines, planes, computers, genetics and more. Right now we are trying to survive a major outbreak called Covid19 its a virus and millions of people lost their lives, we are trying to vaccine the whole world and get rid of this virus. I believe when you read these words you are laughing because I’m sure all of the genetics, bacteria, viruses and diseases in your time will be cured with a new generation method.
But did you really discover that traveling in time or traveling at light speed, did you use all of the capacity in your brain or did you find a way to stop aging? I hope you discover all of the stuff and living in a paradise digital world.
I just want to say it: we were here, we were loved, and we lost our relatives and our dreams. In the end we believe this world to be temporary, and spending our days being happy and hopeful is the best way to live.
